🐾 Pottymouth Kiki & Hapless Sam: The Nut‑Biting Incident
🐾Fostering dogs means my house is basically a rotating cast of lovable weirdos, each with their own quirks, traumas, and questionable life choices. One of the most memorable was Hank—better known in our home as Hanky Panky. He arrived un‑neutered, enthusiastic, and… let’s just say romantically optimistic. Poor Kiki endured several attempts at unwanted affection, but despite her tiny size, she made it very clear that No means No. Hanky, being the gentle giant he is, respected her boundaries and let her boss him around like a furry little drill sergeant.
One afternoon, I was in the kitchen keeping an eye on the trio—Sam, Kiki, and Hank—while they wrestled in their usual “boys club” chaos. Kiki, of course, wanted in on the action, but the boys were too busy body‑slamming each other to notice her. My husband walked in just as I was watching her try (and fail) to get their attention.
I joked, “Wouldn’t it be funny if she bit Hank in the nuts?”
And as if she had been waiting for her cue, Kiki turned, squared up, and—right on beat—chomp.
Not hard. Not malicious. Just enough to say, “Ahem. I am HERE.”
Hank jumped like he’d been struck by lightning. Kiki play‑bowed, tail wagging, and sprinted off in triumph. She had achieved her goal: instant, undivided attention and a brand‑new playmate.
When I say these comics are based on real events, I mean it. Every chaotic, ridiculous, slightly‑inappropriate moment is pulled straight from life with these three. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

🐾 Fomentar perros significa que mi casa es básicamente un elenco rotativo de adorables bichos raros, cada uno con sus propias manías, traumas y decisiones de vida cuestionables. Uno de los más memorables fue Hank—mejor conocido en nuestra casa como Hanky Panky. Llegó sin castrar, entusiasta y… digamos que románticamente optimista. La pobre Kiki soportó varios intentos de afecto no solicitado, pero a pesar de su diminuto tamaño, dejó muy claro que No es No. Hanky, siendo el gigante gentil que es, respetó sus límites y la dejó mandarlo como si fuera una pequeña sargento peluda.
Una tarde, estaba en la cocina vigilando al trío—Sam, Kiki y Hank—mientras se revolcaban en su habitual caos de “club de chicos”. Kiki, por supuesto, quería unirse a la acción, pero los chicos estaban demasiado ocupados lanzándose cuerpo a cuerpo como para notarla. Mi esposo entró justo cuando yo observaba cómo intentaba (sin éxito) llamar su atención.

Hank saltó como si le hubiera caído un rayo. Kiki hizo una reverencia de juego, la cola moviéndose, y salió corriendo en triunfo. Había logrado su objetivo: atención instantánea, total, y un nuevo compañero de juegos.
Cuando digo que estos cómics están basados en eventos reales, lo digo en serio. Cada momento caótico, ridículo y ligeramente inapropiado sale directamente de la vida con estos tres. Y honestamente, no lo cambiaría por nada.
